As an ecotoxicologist I am particularly interested in assessing sublethal effects of toxicants in aquatic organisms with an emphasis on environmental metal risk assessment in sediment. I believe that this can only be achieved by a multi-disciplinary approach, linking exposure to effect assessment across biological levels through the integration of different areas of research as environmental chemistry and toxicology, ecological modeling and/or -omic technologies.
